Biography
Bishop Rick Ball
I was born 11/03/1954 in North Eastern Ohio and educated in Ashtabula County. My education, a general high school education as well as a two year certificate in graphic arts. I graduated from Geneva High in 1973 and was named class Valedictorian. My college education was achieved in Olney Central College in Olney Illinois where I received an Associates Degree in Welding Technology- graduated Phi-Beta Kappa ( National Honors Society.)
August 12, 1973 Jeanne Marie Byrd and I were wed in Mentor, Ohio. We have recently celebrated our 33rd anniversary. We have three boys (men) ages 30, 28 and 26, two daughters 12 & 15 and raised several foster children.
Our ministry experience covered over 25 years of various areas of ministry. When we began our ministry we were evangelizing in a tent ministering south eastern states. Then after 4 years as tent evangelists, we pastored for almost 20 years and served on the Board of Youth and Christian Education. We are currently Missions Director with the Center for Hope Ministries and serve Missionaries. Our Missionary experience has taken us to Southern Arizona, Mexico, Haiti and Uganda. God has had us in training for nearly 30 years preparing us for the work in Uganda.
